One of our recent sermon series was entitled "Come to the Table". As part of that series, we meet and decorated ceramic plates together. Here are photos of that gathering, September 29, 2023.
“Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you did it to me.” Matthew 25:40.
We do seem to enjoy each other's company. At our monthly pot luck meals, in our missions projects, and on Sunday mornings, we are friendly people!
This past March, 2023, farm workers walked for 5 days from Pahokee to Palm Beach to advocate for freedom and dignity. We met up with this group for the final 2 mile walk and rally.
Every growing season, we glean vegetables left in the fields at the end of harvest. These vegetables are used by CROS ministries through their food pantries in Palm Beach and Martin counties.
Monthly, we gather at the CROS (Christians Reaching Out to Society) to help sort donated non-perishable food items for distribution through their food pantries across Palm Beach and Martin counties.
For the past 13 years, our church has hosted a community meal on Tuesday afternoons for our area homeless and hungry neighbors. We feel our Community Dinner is an important way of serving God and God's people. In addition to a meal, we provide showers, laundry, hair cuts, clothing, toiletries, and food pantry.
